This new office development was secured in competition on the basis of a Design & Build contract. The project continues Birse Construction's involvement on this high profile development site, following the recent successful completion of the £6m office scheme for the Oracle Corporation.
The three storey building of approximately 140,000ft² gross internal area, follows the theme of high quality and visually attractive working environments being created on the site.
Our success was due to the submission of a comprehensive and competitive proposal within a limited tendering period, combined with a proven ability to manage the design development process, fully integrating the client's requirements.
The building comprises an efficient composite steel frame and pre-cast floor unit solution, full height high specification curtain walling with solar shading, planar glazed atrium and distinctive roof profile.
 
Internally, the building is fully serviced with high quality finishes. Externally, elaborate hard and soft landscaped works are employed, reflecting the importance and prominence of the development.
